You need a RCD camping lead which can be purchased for about $110 from the likes of Mitre 10. A regular domestic 3 pin extension lead is NOT compatible with the power boxes.

No we don’t. You can enter / leave the park as you wish (we don’t lock the gates). We just ask that you are considerate of your fellow campers.
The hot tub is $25 for up to 4 people for 30 minutes. Book your hot tub time at reception.

We don’t lock our communal facilities, so there is 24 hour access to them.
Yes, we do. The laundry is open 24 hours and operates via Tangerpay. Simply scan the QR code in the laundry to pay on your phone. $6 per wash and $6 per dry. Laundry powder is available from the kiosk. The laundry is open 24 hours.
We also have multiple washing lines on site for you to use.
No we don’t. Guests need to provide their own cooking & eating utensils or you can hire a kitchen cupboard for an additional $5 per day with a $20 refundable deposit. We do provide ovens, hot plates, a microwaves, communal fridges & zips/jugs for hot water.
Our drinking water is on ‘town supply’ and is nice to drink.
Pets are only allowed during certain times of the year and only with the express permission from the Managers. We don’t allow pets into our accommodation or facilities. Arrangement for bringing a pet into the Holiday Park must be made prior to arrival. A “Pet Policy” form will need to be completed & signed on arrival.
Yes, we provide free parking. We allow one car park per unit/cabin. Additional vehicles may need to be parked else where in the Holiday Park (i.e not outside your accommodation).
We expect guests to be considerate of their fellow guests and to keep noise to an absolute minimum between 10pm-7am. This includes noise from vehicles, motor bikes, music and talking.

Please use our afterhours pager button to alert the managers on duty of the disturbance at the time it is occurring. It is very difficult for us to address the situation in the morning or after the fact.

The best option is to walk to the terminal face of the Fox Glacier which ends with spectacular views of the Glacier and its steep ice falls. Its an easy 10 min drive from park with a 2 hour return walk which can also be cycled. Talk to the team for more information and directions.
There is Four Square located in Franz Josef (25 minutes north of Fox Glacier) or a New World located in Hokitika (2 hours north of Fox Glacier) or Wanaka (3 hours South of Fox Glacier).
We do suggest that you stock up on grocery items before heading our way to ensure you have enough supplies for your West Coast Experience.
Yes, there are a few local restaurants/cafes located in Fox Glacier. Talk to the team for a great local recommendation.
The Fox Village is less than a 1km from the Holiday Park and is an easy walk.
We have a coffee vending machine in our camp kitchen.
Lake Matheson is located 4kms from the Holiday Park. Ask the team for directions.
The walk is an easy 2.6 km on a very good track, it’ll take you 1.5 hours to go around the whole lake, it’s a great short walk.
Due to the number of flight paths, drones are banned in the greater Fox area.
There is a domestic airport located in Hokitika with International airports located in Christchurch and Queenstown.
