School Camps and Educational Groups

Education groups find us a great place to base themselves when visiting Glacier Country!

Being so well located and with such a wide range of facilities & services many schools base themselves here while studying the glacial features of the area. We offer the exclusive use of areas of the holiday park so that these groups can have privacy, security and group safety. Our Lodge facilities offer groups a complete package of accommodation, kitchen, dining and bathrooms under one roof.

Space for everyone to LEARN!

As we mentioned this is completely separate from other park users.
This gives loads of space for teachers to teach and students to learn.

We’re happy to bounce ideas around!

If you are interested in hearing what we can offer your group or school please drop us an email or call us. We quote on a case by case basis and we’re sure we can work out a plan that can suit your needs.

You’ll see we are dedicated to learning here at the park and spend a lot of energy and time showcasing the natural environment that surrounds us.

If you think it sounds like a good plan, get in touch!

Here’s a breakdown of what we can offer you..

Classroom Facilities:

The lodge makes for a quality classroom environment with its table and chair configurations. There is wi-fi internet, Freeview TV and large LCD TV’s for your presentations.

There is a variety of bedding configurations that can be customized according to your requirements.

There are both men’s and women’s bathrooms in the lodge and are accessed through internal corridors.

All cooking equipment is provided by us and this is for group use only, putting this under lock and key between group visits ensures you get the best quality for your team!

This is not an issue, for either cars, vans or buses there’s plenty of space adjacent to the building, so no long distances for carrying luggage and equipment.

Access to local knowledge:

We also offer access to environmental educators, nature guides and our award winning Outfoxing Guidebooks. We cover geology, glaciology, flora & fauna and NZ history and culture.
