There are many areas to explore within close proximity of the Fox Glacier Village which can easily be reached by bike! You can take a ride up to visit the glacier as well as explore numerous forest roads and trails. Lake Matheson with it’s stunning mirror reflections of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps is only a short ride from the village.

Fox Glacier Bike Rental offers modern bikes in a wide range of sizes. Helmets, locks, repair kits are provided and they can suggest a range of biking trails for you to enjoy.

Evening bike picks ups from your accommodations can also be arranged so you don’t have to worry about bike returns. It’s all about allowing you to have a great time in the area at your leisure.
